Beauty OR Beast

One day, some of my colleague came back from lunch (I was having lunch in office that day). One of the guy was so excited and say ‘Got lengchai… got lengchai outside’ informing others. One of the gals.. zapped out to check him out. Hmmm… I wonder.. what is so exciting about a handsome or a pretty? I mean, practically you can see a couple walking down the street… hanging around in a bookstore or a café rite? Born with a pretty or handsome face does mean that it will comes along with some attention from others. But bare in mind, something that looks good from the outside doesn’t means that the inside is not rotten.

People always say… ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’… do we really apply that? I personally do not think that looking good = nice person. As in… the statement:

If GOOD_LOOKING then NICE

I’m not saying that I would prefer ugly-looking people nor that all good looking people are bad. What I’m trying to say is that we can’t judge a person by solely depending on how they look. I think that a person’s personality, intellectual and attitude should also be taken into account. Anyway, there’s no use to have a pretty face but a rotten soul. So look around you… can you be sure that the handsome/pretty next door is a ‘Beauty’ or a ‘Beast’?
